1951 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
Up for auction is a rare barn find. A 1951 Chevrolet Bel-Air Two Door Hardtop in Fathom Green. The car was put away in a barn in 1964 and was just found recently. It has the 216 engine which turns free. I have not tried to start it. It has a three speed standard transmission, standard radio, skirts, passenger visor mirror, and a gas door guard. The vehicle is remarkably solid. The trunk floor and spare tire well are rust free. I cannot find any rust in the front or rear passenger compartment floor. There is rust through to the right rear 1/4 panel. The battery tray is rusted through! The tires are very old 6:70 X 15 from the dark ages. There is some surface rust to the body and the front and rear chrome, however this would make an excellent restoration candidate. One of the side windowsis cracked, and the rear center window is shattered but still in place. The interior is pretty shredded but all there. The steering wheel is crack and damage free. The dash is in good condition. The air breather is not shown in the photos but does come with the car. The trunk interior is very nice and all the originalspare tire and jack parts are there and in good shape. Please inspect the photos supplied in the auction as I may have missed something. I have describedthe condition of the car to the best of my ability.
The car is being sold as is where is. There is no warrantee what so ever. Shipping cost is the complete responsibility of the buyer. I need a $500.00 deposit when the auction closes and the remainder paid within three days with either cash or bank wire transfer. I will work with your shipper as far as being there when he shows up. All payments must be made and cleared in the bank before the car leaves the property. The car is being sold with a bill of sale only as the state of New Hampshire does not require a title for antique cars. The car is located in Auburn, New Hampshire. I will answer all calls and questions in Englishwithin reasonable hours before 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This car is being sold as a restoration project. Please call 603-483-2355 with any questions. All inspections are welcome as long as it is before the auction ends. Good luck and happy bidding!
