1970 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

Here is my numbers matching, ocumented, 4,500 original mile1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. I have ownership history, actually a three ring binder) OEM sales literature, wner's manual, nbsp;and Warranty (i.e. Protect O Plate). Also included are extra keys, arts and Repairs Receipts, and a Z28 authenticity certificate from Jerry McNeish, ho is THE authority on verifying these cars. This is a Norwood built car, nd so marked on the build tag. This is a very original car as to drivetrain and sheet metal. Engine has been freshened up with a re-build 1000 miles ago in 2008, hen the car had 23.5K miles on the odometer. Re-built professionally to factory specifications. The heads received a three angle valve job, nd the engine was fully balanced, nd the cylinders line bored and honed. New seals in heads and all new engine gaskets. Ihave receipts describing materials, nd the exact work that was performed. Shop that did the work is quitereputable, nd in business today. Concours correct Factory style Gardner exhaust with the OEM style Transverse muffler (expensive!). The correct carburetor has been re-built and adjusted. The original "W" marked aluminum intake manifold and the correctExhaust manifolds in place.Brand new AC / Delco Battery. Needless to say, his 360HP LT1 Chevrolet small block 350 runs very strong. 4.11 gears in the 12 Bolt Rear end, nd the 1970 Z28 was the only small block Chevrolet Camaro to get a 12 bolt Differential. M22 Rock Crusher Transmission shifts perfectly, nd its' synchronisers were adjusted at time of engine re-build by the same shop. All I have done to the driveline is lubricate the correct Hurst shifter replace a U joint, nd balance the driveshaft. Clutch is perfect. Steering is nice and tight, ith no slop in the steering box. Original interior with no extra speakers etc. Factory GM AM radio, hich works perfectly. I have the original smog pump (see photo of it and the air pump rails in a box) and the original tail pipes, long with the original wood grain dash face and Goodyear Polyglas spare tire and jack accessories. The shocks were replaced with new AC / Delco units. Original floor pans. Sheet metal is superb, nd NO rust anywhere, ncluding the trunk area. The undercarriage has been re-painted with correct rust oxide paint and markings.Car has the more rare, aller version of the rear spoiler for 1970. I have a photo (old Kodak snap shot!) of the car in the early 1970's with this in place. Correct 8k Tachometer, 50 MPH Speedometer, n place. Horn, eater, xterior lights, nterior lights, ipers and gauges work correctly. CLOCK is even running, ut I doubt it keeps the correct time. I would say the paint, verall, n a 1 to 10 scale, s about a 7. I also added a brand new set of Goodyear Polyglas Tires, nd this car is ready to drive, r show. This car needs very little to be perfect. The car is amazing as it has always been stored under cover, nd spent years in a climate controlled facility. It retains its original Citrus Green color with black interior. This car is not perfect, nbsp;but it is a LOT closer than most! Door bushings just replaced, o there is now NO drop at the hinge when the door is opened. I noticed the driver's side door glass has an irregular top line, or about 6" along the top, hich is about 1/8" deep. ITis only noticeable when the door is open with the window rolled up.My preference for Muscle cars are those that could go around corners, nd not just in a straight line. This one is it! 360 HP LT1 + M22 Rock Crusher + 12 Bolt Rear End = the Apex of the Chevrolet Camaro F Body, ith, n my opinion, he best Small Block Engine Chevrolet ever built. Maybe the best small block by any manufacturer! No small block Camaro ever had more HP and Torque, nd GM dropped compression ratios in 1971. It was downhill after that for all Muscle Cars. This car can embarrass lots of Big Blocks, nd out handle all of them. I am also selling my Boss 302, nd I think this car was best of the Trans Am series cars. For 1970, hevrolet borrowed heavily from Ferrari on the new F body Camaro's lines, articularly in the grill area. This car has a great look and stance to this day. NO rust, ver, atching numbers Fresh Engine, nd superb documentation equal a GREAT car to own and enjoy! Questions, nd Inspections both Encouraged and Welcomed. Car is located close to Love Field, n Dallas, X. Please call 214-507-9441 if you have genuine interest. No emails, lease. I enjoy a good reputation on Ebay and am selling all my vintage cars at this time. Thanks for your attention and interest.
