1936 Chevrolet Other Master Business Coupe Additional Info:
Pros - painted, looks decent but some "orange-peel," rebuilt motor and transmission, converted to 12V. Starts instantly at turn of key when warmed up. When cold need to let fuel pump build up pressure (about 5-10 seconds). As expected on old carburetor motor, needs to warm up and be choked. Once warmed up runs like brand new. Shifts like new, nice and tight. No play in shifter linkage or clutch. Overall really impressive looking. Awesome oil pressure 15lbs at idle, not going to find that very oftenin an old oil dip motor!
Cons -brakes have gone soft, they will work if you top off the fluid and bleed but will likely need master cylinder. Lights need to be wired. Originalcloth covered wiring in place. When I got it, all gauges worked but I presume Ive blown a fuse when I jumped it as they are not working now (except oil pressure). Dash needs paint, grill needs restoration.
