1949 Chevy deluxe coupe, restored over 25 years ago, stored and covered in a climate controlled shop, driven sparingly in nice weather.The car is no longerdriven and is being sold at no reserve to the highest bidder. This carwas restored to original, with the 6 volt charging system. Recently, the fuel pump, water pump, newbattery, complete newexhaustand carb. have been replaced. The motor starts and runs perfect, no smoke, no lifter noise, no oil, or coolant leaks. The trans shifts as designed with no clutch chatter. As seen in the photos, the complete interior has been redone with no real wear showing. The tires were recently replaced with new Cooker Classic radials. The steering is tight and steers very easy. The heat and defrost work, no radio, the glass has new window channels, the doors open and close easy. The ignition key locks the doors and trunk. The floors and rocker panels have no rust or previous repairs. The paint has a very nice and smooth finish, no scuffs or scratches. The steering is tight and steers easy, the brakes have been recently gone through and stop like manual brakes, the e brake works, all the gauges work correct. This old car is very attractive, with personality and style,she shows very well with excellent chrome and stainless.
