Silver exterior (originally Tuxedo Black), code correct Black vinyl interior. NOM 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Features include AM/FM radio, power antenna. Originally assembled on March 4, 1965, this 1965 Corvette was one of just 1,191 '65 Corvettes painted in the extremely desirable Tuxedo Black from the factory, and also appears to have a no-hit body, making it a great car to paint Black and redo the interior on. Based on the 6,500 rpm tachometer, aluminum intake, harmonic balancer, 2.5 inch exhaust manifolds, and 80 psi oil pressure gauge, we believe this to originally have been a 365hp car. Having had the same owner since 1974, this car's paint is below avg, and a universal side mirror has been added to the driver's door. Chrome bumpers, exterior door handles, and taillights are avg. Steel wheels are in good condition, and correct original hubcaps are avg. Tiger Paw radial whitewalls show an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining, and are currently installed with the blackwalls out. The interior of this 1965 Corvette shows below avg seats, carpet, GM seatbelts, and center console, and good condition steering wheel and dash pads. Gauges and glovebox lid are vg, and correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The engine in this 1965 Corvette shows correct casting number 3782870, and original casting date May 7, 1965. L79/L76 style aluminum intake is in place, along with added Orange finned aluminum valve covers, a vintage alarm, and a chrome Mr. Gasket oil breather. Brake master cylinder looks to be recent, and the frame is solid and rust-free. Please note that this car is below the quality that we typically carry, but it is priced accordingly. This car is well worth bringing back to its former glory. Call us today to bring this '65 Coupe home! Our Price: $37,999. Financing Available with long terms and low rates.
