1968 Chevrolet Camaro 721 Gold Custom Buckets Additional Info:
We are selling this car for one of our customers that has owned it since 2000. It was purchased from his brother-in-law who had bought the car froma gentleman in Sun Valley in 1995. The car was built new by Chevrolet as an SS car with a factory installed 396/325 HP motor. Trying to do a complete breakdown of factory installed equipment is not easily accomplished without finding the factory line build sheet. This issometimes available inside the car as it tells the factory line workers what options to includeas the car passes thru the assembly process. Howeverwe have not been able to locate it.Pictures of the Trim Tag on the engine compartment cowl along with the numbers on the 396 engine block are available along with the complete vin number for you serious buyers. This car is the real thing, not a clone but a true L34, L35or at least one of those Camaro SS models that came with a 396 engine but we are unable to determine what horsepower motor came in the car. The car was builtthe 3rd week of July 1968 in Van Nuys, California painted Ermine White with a White Vinyl Top and the Gold Custom Bucket seat interior that to this day is untouched and still in the car. All of the seats are really in extremely nice original condition with the exception of a bit of the roundpiping on the drivers side. The current owner never drove it much and always kept it in a garage. His comments to us was "how much fun it was to drive" and while he may have only driven it one time during the year it always started good, "the rumble from the big block put a huge smile onmy face and the power was awesome!" The car is all there so whether you are looking for a survivor or just one that you want to totally restore and will have good value this is the car to start with. While the gaps on the sheet metal maynot be perfect, it probably is how it cameout of the factory. The windowsall operate and the doors shut soundly and easily. Not a perfect car but it is a perfect find! We are Main Street Motors located at 311 West Main in Enterprise, Oregon and our telephone number is 541-426-2100. We have the car also listed on our website and it has many more pictures than we could get down loaded on this eBay site. Those pictures can be viewed at www.main-street-motors.com but this auction will run to the end as no buy it now price has been established.

We just visited again with the owner of the car and he informed us that the front disc brakes are from a 1970 Chevy Camaro. He still has the original brake items.
