1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups 4400 flatbed Additional Info:

1956 Chevy 4400 (Original 235 6 cylinder and 4 speed transmission) in strong running condition. Could use a little sheet metal work in a couple of places, but surprisingly solid overall. Good glass. Good tires all around. Clean title, tags current and good till March 2017.
What can I say, it's a 60 year old farm truck that's in good running condition. Couldn't tell you the actual miles (odometer is stuck 65000), but it's no doubt been rebuilt more than once in its lifetime. There's a little rust in the usual places (should be visible in the pics), but amazingly enough the floor pan is solid throughout. The bed could use a new 2x4 in a couple of places but is overall still pretty solid. The transmission has power take-off, so it may have been a dump truck at some point in its life (but it's currently a fixed flatbed). Very cool old truck that would make for a solid work vehicle as is, or solid bones for a restoration. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
