1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible, U-Code Big Block Additional Info:
1972 SS Chevelle Convertible, u-code, original matching engine and drivetrain. This was a dealer car back in 1972. I can see why a dealer would select this car, with its drivetrain, color combo, convertible, and it's muscular stance. I have the sales order. It did have it's protecto plate, but somehow was misplaced when it was shipped from Arizona to me. No rust, no dents, nice looking brightwork and paint shows very well. Runs and drives good. Everything works, including cowl induction. The radio has been replaced with a digital am factory looking radio. I have the original radio. I'm not sure what the impetus was for that...These are factory colors. Very desirable cream yellow, white top, white interior, with white exterior stripes. I have not seen this combination of factory colors. Trim tag specifies these colors. I have owned this car for 2 years. Purchased from a collector in Arizona. Car was sold in Oct 2014 at Mecum where the collector purchased it. It was advertised at auction as having original miles, and also on the sale to me. Currently shows 64k on odometer. I have no reason to believe otherwise. You can view a summary of the sale here:

I've driven it twice, for a combined 30 miles...that's it. It stays in my garage covered, and never been washed. I'm not a dealer. This is not a hardship sale. Feel free to ask any questions. I will cooperate with your shipper. Buyer to submit non-refundable $500 at auction close, to be deducted from final sale price. This car is not for sale elsewhere, and I reserve the right cancel at any time prior to auction expiration.

Additional photos added. Car was at Mecum Jan 2014, not Oct 2014. Odometer is 64k, not 69k. Just wanted to clarify some discrepancies I saw in ad.
