Your viewing a 1965 Corvette with some interesting features. I know everyone wants to tell you that they are selling a “rare” car. A “rare” car means something different to everyone. I will let you judge this car. But I think you will agree that you don’t come across these options everyday. Lets start with a real deal drive train that features the highest horsepower small block engine ever put in a C2 Corvette. The 327/365 hp – L76 engine. Ask anyone in the know about Corvettes about the reputation of the L76 solid lifter small block. It’s the engine with that distinctive solid lifter sound to it. And the one that produces a whole lot of torque off the line. Ask some big block owners about that. What makes this car special ? How about this: - One of only 1191 Tuxedo Black 65 Vettes ( 5% - 1191 out of 23,564) - Another rarity – red leather interior. If you’ve been to car shows, what is the most stunning color combos ? Yes, black/red or silver/red. And as you can see from the attached trim tag, it’s a real “born with” black/red car - Add on a teak wheel (option N32) only on 9.5% of 65 Vettes - Power steering - Power brakes - Everything works And… oh yeah… side pipes that make that rat tat tat of solid lifters sound awesome running through side pipes. How can you have a mid year Vette without sidepipes anyway ? And other features of this car: - Body off restoration in 2002 ( pictures provided with purchases) - This car was a Saturday feature car at Barrett Jackson in 2011. Where I purchased it. I am including the Barrett Jackson goodies with purchase - This is definitely not a trailer queen car. It can easily be driven home to anywhere in the country. Yet it has taken many car show trophies here in south Florida. Buyer can have them also. - I have all maintenance records of any work done locally by one of the top Corvette shops in Florida.
