This is a very clean rust free squarebody. Truck was bought locally here in Newton NC on 2/13/87.Best I can tell it was with original owner until 2005 or so, then from 05 until 16, I purchased it from that gentleman who was friends with 2nd owner. I have several inspection sheets and have no doubt this is true mileage of 99850 miles. I have a dealership receipt from 1990 when this truck had 23000 miles received a new engine block for a coolant leak. Truck runs and drives like any other c10 Ive ever driven, has good power, trans shifts as it should. Smokes just a puff on start ups after sitting for a few days. All power options work as well as the AC which has been converted to r134. The exhaust which is a single glasspack into duals straight out the rear need replacement have a few pin holes.Int. shows light wear, dash like all have cracks. Radio and speakers are original and do work as a 30 year old paper cone speaker should. Truck has near new 30x9.50_15 tires. Truck has 2 tank option, the passenger side tank is missing, I'm assuming the switcher . went bad and it rusted out or was simply taken, This is the biggest negative on the truck. Paint has the weathered look of a 30 yr old vehicle some of the butternut has thinned to the point of visions of russet underneath. It will come up some with compound and wax, but I decided to leave in current condition for next buyer so you know exactly what she is. Bedhas been covered since new with a slim line cover which is included in this sale. I removed just as to my preference. Truck as one dent as pictured on driver side in front of gas tank behind moulding. No rust in any panel truck has been under cover and driver thru-out its 30 years of service. Under hood is clean and jack is present, original spare still in place. Excellent truck needs nothing to drive daily.
