1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible numbers matching everything. This is a two owner car from San Diego, California with 62,000 original miles. Build sheet is visible on gas tank. This is a rare highly optioned Corvette. Staring with paint code 974 which is Rally Red, trim code 407 which is Red Vinyl. Options are as follows, C07 - auxiliary hardtop, C08 - vinyl covering for auxiliary hardtop, J50 - power brakes, M50 - powergluide automatic transmission, N36 - telescopic steering column, N40 - power steering, U69 - am/fm radio. Car was built in St. Louis on January 31st, 1967. This car has been on jack stands stored inside since the mid 1970's. It still has the 2nd set of BF Goodrich tires on the car. Still sports the original motor, transmission, rims, radiator, surge tank, glass, seats and carpet. Frame is solid with minor surface rust, birdcage is solid. Car does turn over which is a good sign. A Blue "GM Mark of Excellence " sticker was placed over the latch on the back of each door as the result of a GM quality awareness program. These stickers are still on both doors. Production numbers are as follows, 22,940 Corvette's produced, 2341 were Rally Red, the numbers will be fewer with Red interior, and even fewer with a Red hardtop.
