1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Additional Info:
EASY winter project!I have owned this car for 30 years and only drove it one summer in 1991. That's when it was last licensed. Yes, it needs a little bodywork but not a lot. Solid floors! Only minor patches needed in trunk and quarters, one fender. No original drivetrain remains. Now has a mid-70s 350 motor, a TH350 transmission and a 10 boltopen rear end.The option tag decodes as:11A - built first week of November, 196667-12637 - 1967 Model Year, Custom Deluxe interior CoupeLOS 5021 - Los Angeles Van Nuys plant, Fisher Body scheduling code707-Z Yellow Custom Deluxe bucket seatsY-2 - Y=Butternut Yellow paint; 2=black vinyl topW - tinted windshield,2MG - M= M35 Powerglide transmission; G = D55 console3DL - D= U29 lamp courtesy (coupe under dash lights), L=Rally Sport option (hidden headlights, lower body chrome moldings, all red tail lights, back up lights under rear bumper)4P = SS350RS/SS 350original floor-shift automatic, console caroriginally butternut yellow with yellow custom deluxe interior (very rare double yellow - the rarest interior color for 1967, but you could go with any color)black vinyl top (a new one is included)Front suspension fully rebuilt:**all new GM rubber front suspension and frame mount bushings**all new upper and lower ball joints**new inner and outer tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves (so will need an alignment)**all new steel brake lines front to back**GM front power disc brakes, single piston**new 11" rotors**new high-quality Canadian-made gas tank**new gas tank sender**new heater coreall glass is included, including uninstalled windshield and rear window**complete emblem set, all GM except the V-flags, they appear to be aftermarket**SS hood - needs some work on the underside but is GM steel, not aftermarket**Correct GM matching SS hood hinge springs and correct GM RS hood releaseComplete, mostly functional, mostly GM Rally Sport grille, moldings and headlight system (needs one headlight motor). Everything but the nuts, bolts and theheadlight door backing plates are GM. I bought the upper and lower RS grille moldings new from GM back inthe 80s, along with the grill. That grille (included) ended up with a broken tooth butincludes a piece from another grille to repair it. The grille currently in the car has nodamage, but is probably aftermarket. The lower and upper valance panels are from a '68 - the RS turn signal lenses are original '67 but the housings are aftermarket '68 as I couldn't cut a perfectly good GM '68 RS valance panel to use '67 RS turn signal housings.new water pumpgood radiatororiginal 12 bolt rear is gone - currently has 10 bolt open limited slip (non-posi) 3.08 rear from '68 CamaroComplete seat set in very good condition - front buckets and correct narrow rear seat (non-folding)Complete upholstery set in Custom Deluxe yellow with black accents instead of correct gold (better looking, in my opinion) but you'll need '67 Custom Deluxe or '69 standard seat cushions to install them correctly - about $180, not included. No headliner or sun visors but widely available cheap in black or even correct yellowComplete front original seat belt set (gold) with plastic buckles - one cracked bucklecorrect N30 steering wheel but with incorrect Impala SS horn cap (should read SS350 on an early Camaro like this one)AM radio - nice looking but unknown working condition, new aftermarket knobsnew US made steel upper dash panel installed after lower windshield opening repair was completedcorrect shifter, still has power glide stops but works with TH350correct non-gauges console in very nice condition14x6 rally wheels with no beauty rings or capsThe tires are old and good for trailering onlyThe body is really solid - no known serious rust issues except for trunk pan. I will include a RS wiring diagram, a copy of the factory assembly manual (very handy) and keys. The car runs and moves and stops. Four ash trays! No cup holders! Gotta love the '60s. It won't take much to restore and if you can find a genuine RS/SS 1967 Camaro with such a desirable original color combination that is more complete and in better shape for less money - you should buy it! Clean title in my name. If you are reading this, it is still for sale but is listed locally! Shipping isavailable for reasonable rates through many companies, but I recommend an in-person examination. I can answer questions and provide additionalpictures upon request. I can assist with coordinating with shipping companies or arrange delivery within the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for looking and have a nice day!On Nov-02-16 at 14:06:17 PDT, seller added the following information:
Let's be real here - this lady turned 50 this month and she'd been around the block before she entered my life 30 years ago. I mentioned four ash trays, but there has been no smoking in the car since I've had it. There are dings and dents from being in storage most of that time. I'll be posting more pictures this evening but I HIGHLY recommend viewing the car in person or asking for specific pictures if you need more information. It's a solid project, and everyone has their own ideas of how much "work" a car needs, but if you've looked at these cars long enough, you know this is a good start.

I've added more photos that show the condition better - if you need more or different pictures of the car, let me know.
