Up for sale we have a 1959 Chevy Impala. This Impala has had a frame on restoration with new interior. The brakes and steering have been upgraded along with new vintage Heat & AC. The engine is a 348 Tri Power that's got some chrome dressing. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website
We will start off with the exterior of the Impala. The body is covered in the slick Tuxedo Black Paint that has had hours spent on buffing and polishing it to a deep rich shine. When you look down the sides they are straight with good fit of the panels. Being an Impala it has a lot of side stainless which fits good and shows well. All the glass is very good with new seals on the front and rear glass. The weather stripping was also replaced. At the time of repaint the bumpers were either replaced or rechromed. The stance comes from a set of Chrome 22" Coys with Good Tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '59. On the inside it's done in the Red and White two tone scheme that accents the exterior perfectly. It has the correct bench seats that are covered in the correct Red Covers that were replaced at the time of the resto. The carpet is red as well and it has a white headliner. The A/C Vents were installed under the dash. The dash all looks correct with the only change being to a Vintage 15" wheel. They replaced all the window cranks and handles as well. All the roof rail stainless looks good along with the other trim.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a 348 that has the Tri Power. The valve covers and breather was changed to chrome. It retains that factory manifolds. The brakes were changed to Power with the Chrome Booster and Master and they have the four wheel disc with drilled and slotted rotors. Also it comes with Power Steering and the radiator has been changed to Aluminum. The exhaust is duals with flows that are turned out in front of the rear wheels. The trans is a Glide that's mated to stock style rear end. When you look under this Impala it's solid with the floors being done in Red Oxide Primer with Black Frame.
