1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-10 RS/SS Additional Info:

Thank you for your interest in this Rare and Beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-10 RS/SS. This is a very rare and easily documentable serious muscle car. The car was, for many years, registered by previous owners with the International Camaro Club Inc. These cars because of the Dover White with Orange Rally Stripes are commonly referred to "Indy Pace Car Replicas" however, they are NOT the hard top versions of said models and never came with Indy Pace Car decals. These cars were produced in low numbers exclusively for the Southwest region of the U.S. There was one reported new sale of a Z-10 in TN. The car has always been represented as a numbers matching original car. It is assumed that there was a repaint many years ago but done professionally, with the existing original body panels in the correct Dover White lacquer with Hugger Orange Rally Stripes. This car also has the correct pin stripes that are frequently not on most of the restored cars of this style. There is some checking on top of the rear quarter panels but the paint is there and not coming of. It's a very nice patina that goes mostly unnoticed until you get up to about 6 feet from the car. The rear panel on Z-10's are painted white as most Big Block cars have the Black panel. The rocker panels are also white. Options on this car from the factory are as follows: - D80 Spoilers - ZJ7 Rally Wheels - ZL2 Cowl Induction Hood - Z22 Rally Sport Package - Z27 Super Sport Package - Z10 Cowl Tag stamp All Z-10's were built in the Norwood Plant (NOR) and the cowl tag is stamped "Z-10" so it is very easy to research. In 1997, one of the previous owners was the late renowned mar. Ronald Felty. At the the time of his ownership in 1997 he had a Turbo 400 transmission built with a shift kit installed in the car. He however, retained the original transmission which we have and it comes with the car. The optional Bright work inserts on the rear quarter panel gills are represented to us as original. In 1990 when Mr. Felty purchased the car it had 80,641 miles. The interior is TR 727 Ivory and in phenomenal condition. I can not attest to the originality of the front seats because they are just too nice but it is possible. The car retains it's original tires which show dry rot and cracking. They hold air, don't leak and can be driven on but the old bias ply tires are flat spotted and with a good set of Radials would be one heck of a drivers machine. Originality has always been the importance in chain of ownership as I understand hence the original tires. It is a very strong running car. The tires are the only drawback for driving. The casting and stamped numbers are as follows. - Block Casting Number 3955272 - - Front Motor Pad TO428JI - Tonawanda Engine Plant "T" - 12 Bolt Differential BL0424G2 - Original Transmission included with car date coded 477-CE-69-15028 (strictly for 396/350HP) If you would like more information or images and have serious interest in owning this car, please call Doug at 954-934-2057 or Dan at 954-793-3529 and we will be happy to help in any way we can. Again we thank you for viewing our listing and look forward to working with serious buyers.
