1954 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod Additional Info:
Have the best hot rod at the show. Car looks great, runs great, is powerful, and is a true attention-getter. Here are details on the car;
In its past life this Corvette was brought to a body shop where they disassembled it and began preparing it for paint.
Unfortunately, the project must have gotten sidelined and all of its trim and other components were lost which put the car in distress.
We were fortunate to buy the car and brought it down from Ohio. The purchase provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a 1954 Corvette custom restomod without the guilt of disassembling a stock Corvette.
Fast forward a few years later and the 1954 has a new lease on life.

One final note;
Coincidently, this vehicle has a similar look to Chevrolet's Corvette concept car EX-87 which was used by Chevrolet to field-test many performance modifications. Under Zora Duntov, the concept car (test mule) led to V8 performance parts development, one of which was Duntov's famous Cams. Outfitted with a highly modified Chevrolet V8, a 3 speed transmission, and significant weight reduction the concept car set several speed records.
