1979 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado C10 Additional Info:

This truck was equipped from the factory with a BIG BLOCK 454 engine under the hood! Wow....it is FAST! And we mean really FAST!
It was built in 1979 as a Chevrolet Silverado C10 truck or also called a BIG 10. And it came with a 454 engine from the factory. It has 781 oval port heads and roller rockers. There is an Edelbrock rpm intake and long tube headers. Truck has an automatic 400 transmission with a 12 bolt rearend. The transmission was recently serviced and installed a new pan gasket, new intake gaskets, and fluid.
The truck has been lowered slightly. Has new wheels and tires. The wheels are 15x8's on the front and 15x10's on the rear. There are also new brakes with new brakes lines. We just had the truck aligned at the shop and a new front suspension installed under the truck.
As you can see it has been made to look like a rat rod shop truck. All that patina and age in intentional! When we workedon this truck all of the chrome, bumpers, and other trim pieces were removed so we could patina and clear coat the truck. This truck has a full gallon of high quality clear coat on it to seal in the patina. Now you can take it to car wash and keep it looking good all time. The graphics are hand painted as well as new custom hand-painted pinstripes. In true rat rod styling the BIG 10 and 454 was added back to the truck with hand-painted lettering. It also has a custom cowl induction hood with custom pearl stripes and pinstripes.
Oh and by the way this truck even has a brand new sunroof.....cool huh! And this is most definitely a short bed truck.
