1981 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Additional Info:

1981 Chevy 3/4 ton 4WD long bed pickup that has been fully restored. This truck does come with the original sales receipt dated 2-3-81 from Reed Chevrolet in Pine bluffs Wyoming and the original sales brochure.

This pickup is loaded with options. It was factory equipped with 4wd, Bucket seats, console, power windows, power locks, cruise control, A/CAM/FM 8 Track, Slide out Spare Tire Carrier, and Tilt Steering column.

Drivetrain - This truck is an original 3/4 ton 4WD pickup that was equipped with a 350 V-8 and automatic transmission. This truck runs and drives great. The drivetrain was gone through by a professional shopat 153,694 miles and the paperwork for the repairs is included. The truck received a reman. long block along with a starter, hoses, full tune up, radiator, rebuilt distributor, p/s pump and hoses, flywheel, fan clutch, and balancer. The transmission was overhauled. The valve body was gone through as well as the front pump and the torque convertor was replaced. The transfer case was serviced and new seals installed. The rear diff was serviced and the front diff was completely rebuilt. The A/C system was rebuilt with anew compressor and it was converted to R-134A at that time.

Body- The body on this truck is really nice. There are no signs of any panel replacements on this truck. It is believed to be all original sheetmetal and there is no rust in this truck. It was repainted with base/clear in factory metallic brown and tan which were the original colors for this truck. The grill is the original, the headlight bezels have been replaced. Both bumpers are new. All of side moulding is new. The tail lights are new. The tailgate trim panel is a very nice used original, but it is not perfect. All of the glass is new.

Interior - The interior isvery nice. The dash padwas professionally restored by Just Dashes. The seats were done by one of the best custom interior guysin the state. The door panels were with nice used originals.
