1966 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
This car was built back in the late 70's at a cost of over $180,000.
It was built for the World of Wheels car show. It traveled the country for a few years with the show.
It has a full custom one off body including gulwing doors. I had custom gas rods made to hold up the doors at a cost of $1000 just for them. The doors work and stay up nicely.
The body is in pretty good shape. The rear is near perfect. The front has some blisters and some small cracks. I repaired some of them already.
I have projection headlights for it too. I was going to go for a classic with modern upgrades.
It has full cantilever custom built billet aluminum suspension. with coilover shocks and Wilwood brakes.
I also installed a Wilwood Brake pedal assembly with dual master cylinders with remote reservoirs mounted up under the dash.
The rear is an IRS Quick change.
I have a new fiberglass Dashworks dash. that I made a removable top plate that I was going to wrap in Leather. It also provides access to the brake reservoirs.
I have a full set of Autometer C2 gauges.
New painless wiring harnesses race car harness with 8 relays built into the fuse box.
I had two new custom made switch panels made up. One with ignition, start, lights, fuel pump, fans and locks. The other for the turn signals and flashers. They are backlite with blue LEDS.
I have all the interior parts for it. There not in to bad of shape. The headliner will need some work to reinstall.
You will need your own motor and transmission there are none included.
This is a project car.
I know theres some things I'm forgetting.
The car was built by a famous builder and the suspension was built by John Buttera.
The car traveled the country with the ISCA shows. It was rated number two in the country.
Was featured in many magazines.
