1961 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Base Sedan 4-Door Additional Info:
1961 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan. Straight 6 auto. 76,425 original miles. This car was in dry storage since 1977 after the passenger's window got broken, the previous owner put it inside and it never saw light again until last year. I bought the car with intentions of doing something with it however like always I have too many projects and not enough time. The paint on the car is really nice and still has a nice shine to it. It does have some rust on the rockers and the usual fender rust above the headlights like all early 60's GM cars have. The driver's quarter has a bump at the bottom, please see pics for more details. It's a 55 year old original car so it does have a few paint chips and scratches as well. The interior is pretty decent, I think it will clean up really nice with some all purpose cleaner and elbow grease. Underside and trunk are solid from what I can see and everything in the trunk is included at no extra charge! The car currently does not run, I was told it was last running about 2 years ago off of a gas can but I never witnessed it. It does turn over fine and sounds very healthy, I just never had the time to go any further with the car. Battery is not included. Clean PA title in hand, a $200 non refundable deposit is due through paypal within 24 hours of the auction's end. Cash payment and pickup due within 7 days of the auctions end in Bally PA 19503 unless arrangements are made prior to bidding. Delivery may be available for a fee but please ask first. Any other questions feel free to ask, you are more than welcome to set something up to look at the car before bidding. The car is for sale locally as well so the auction may end at any time. Happy bidding!
