I have up for auction a beautiful 1937 Chevrolet Street Rod Convertible. I'm listing this for a buddy that took this in trade on another car he had for sale. This is a fiberglass body from Superior Glass Works in Oregon. It sets on a 10 gauge boxed steel frame. Superior are the only manufacturers for the 1937 Chevy bodies I believe. The body has 3 layers of 1.5oz fiberglass on a comprehensive steel structure inside this body. It has a Heidts rack and pinion steering that is power with a 10-bolt rear end. Disc brakes on the front with drums on the rear. It is powered by a tuned-port 350 Chevy engine with a overdrive trans. It has AC, Tilt, Pwr windows, Pwr Seat (Drivers), CD sound system. Stewart Warner gauges and remote doors. It also has a rear power trunk. The top is manual with boot. The front hood tilts forward that adds to the custom look when at a show. The interior is black leather that blends with the black cloth top. The rear fenders are 2" wider to allow for the 18" tires and wheels to give this rod the correct look from the rear. The front wheels and tires are 17' and the wheels Billet Specialties. The engine has polished aluminum and chrome to give it the right touch to show well when displayed. The car has been driven 12,200 miles, so it has been proven to be road ready for long trips. The red paint and stripping really sets off this 37 body. The exhaust appears to be magniflow or a flowmaster. It sounds real nice idling or driving down the road. Everything works on the car. The kit price for this car in rolling form is $25,400.00 plus freight, and then you build from there. This car is ready to show or cruise. Why go through all the hassle to build when you can drive it away now. Come and look or send someone to check out this beautiful car.
