1964 Chevrolet Corvair Additional Info:

I helped a friend clean out his dad's barn. His dad parked this car in 1971, as you can see that was the last time it was plated. I do not know much about coming Corvair's i am an early Chevrolet guy so I will do my best to describe it. The engine does turn freely but it is missing the right side carb. (His dad put a rag in it. I pulled it to look inside then put a plastic bag over the intake on that side) you can tell at one time he must of backed into something with the left rear corner (body filler in there and now poping and above the left rear wheel I would say the left rear 1/4 needs replaced) the only other rust I have noticed is above the right front head light (also some body filler there put not bad at all) the front lower valance appears to be very solid I've heard those rust out. Also the floors appear to be solid also from looking from either side. The interior is in decent shape for original (driver quality my opinion) The top has three small holes in it. The left front window does not roll down right now it did before I trailered it home. Also the rear lid hatch is missing its prop rod. This car is an automatic but it appears that at some point it was changed from a manual because it has a hole in the floor for a shifter and one for a clutch pedal. This car is being sold as is. I recommend you to inspect it as I am not knowledgeable on Corvair's. It is local pick up or you are reasonable for shipping. PayPal deposit of $250 is required in 24hrs of the end of the auction and the remaining balance is to be cash, bank transfer, or cashier's check the title will not be released until funds are cleared. This car is for sale locally also
