1974/1980 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE, 4 SPEED, RUNS/DRIVES GR8! MAY TRADE???
I used to be a Corvette type of guy, still like them(just don't love them any more though + since we now have a baby a "2 seater" is kind of uselessto me)!
What I have here is, a '74 EVERYTHING minus frame, rear tail, doors, these r all from an '80 year mdl.
I bought from a sort of famous motorcycle builder out of Ca who had originally bought it out of either Washington State or Oregon(one of the two, I just can't remember which one @ the moment) and original frame had rust from snow/salt so previous owner bought a wrecked '80 with no frame damage and he moved everything over to it.
So, motor/trans r matching #'s(at least so I am told).
Just a small block car and also mtr/trans and etc supposedly only have original mls in the 60's(I believe that this is correct).
Car needs brakes bled a little from sitting(stops tho), new muffler's, canvas mounted to soft top frame(I have a brand new white soft top for it that is new in the box), I also have a decent hard top for it too however, it needs back glass and hardware.
It's a NO AC car(born without air), interior overall is on good-GR8 shape, body overall is in GR8 shape, needs a little attention to vacuum controlled headlights, and it needs other minor misc things but nothing drastic.
MAIN THING IT NEEDS IS NEW PAINT!
I already spent some buck's on it(wheel's/tires, Vette floor mat's, new front windshield, new door handles, new power steering pump, trans work, and other misc).
My most fave 3 things about it r(and why I bought it): 1, IT'S A CONVERTIBLE(CONVERTIBLE'S R WAY MORE COLLECTIBLE), 2, ITS SWEEEET WIDE BODY FLARES(THESE R $1200-$2K TO BUY), AND 3, I DIG IT OXBLOOD RED COLOR INTERIOR(ONLY OFFERED IN OXBLOOD FOR A COUPLE OF YEAR'S ONLY).
