Lifted Custom 1953 Chevy Pick Up with 502 Engine
Many new/ custom parts
Truck is streetable, there are mufflers inside the exhaust pipes. It is a 1953 cab with custom bed. I bought with the intention of making it diesel and steetable but settled on streetable. The engine is a 502 with aluminum heads with roller rockers, cam, custom headers/exhaust, summit carb 750 (could use a bigger carb or more tuning), and oversized k&N air filter with a custom aluminum radiator mounted in the bed. The truck is fairly well tuned but could still use some final adjusting. Possibly bigger carb or bigger accelerator pump? The transimission is turbo350 just rebuilt less than 10 miles ago with a quick silver slap shift kit, bolted to a np203 tcase with dana 60 in front (warn lock out hubs) and 10.5" rear with 4:11 gears. Truck has 4 wheel disk brakes with adjustable proportioning valve. Sitting on 38"x16x15 mickey thompson baja claws. The tires are a fews years old but have only been down a dirt track a few times so the tread is almost new. There is a 6" suspension lift with close to 4" body lift. Custom made bed with leather cover. The Hood tilts forward and has quick pin detach to work on easily. The seates are black leather out of an acura and custom made chevy door panels. This used to be a custom pulling truck that had the engine/axles/gears etc... replaced in order to make streetable. With that being said this not a show truck . There are plenty of scratch's, unfinished little things and surface rust in places and paint blemish's. Paint job was done at home. It's nothing that can't be fixed but this was built to be used street, 4x4, whatever. Little unfinished things like some misssing and broken gauges, cracked back window, tires ballanced, etc....
