1959 Chevrolet Corvette Base Convertible 2-Door Additional Info:
True garage find. Titled as a 1959 Chevrolet. Car has been in a garage for approximately 37 years. This was part of an estate. Seller knows very little about the vehicle. Body has been customized and the engine is not original. Body appears to be very straight and solid. Looking under the car from ground level the frame appears to be very clean. Engine numbers say it is a 4 bolt 327 C.I. It is not running. I do not know what it would take to get it running. But, buyer would probably go through it anyway. The pictures should show most details of this car. Any way you look at it, it's a rare C1 Corvette. The hood lifts off of pins, and there are no hinges. The top is in the well and has not been opened. It appears to be in good condition. This car looks like it would be a perfect start for a resto mod. In a nutshell, it looks like a really cool 60's custom that has been preserved very well for 37 years. There is a reserve that we will not reveal so please don't ask. Keep in mind that if you are the high bidder and don't meet the reserve, you may still be offered the car at your bid. As with any vintage vehicle we would suggest that you invest in making the trip to see it in person, but that's up to you! Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding!
