For sale- 1985 Chevy Pickup Truck, 3/4 ton, 4WD. It is a one owner truck, I purchased new in Sept., 1985, as a left over from Lafferty Chevrolet. It features a 350 engine, 4BBL, dual exhaust, 700R4 Trans, 14 bolt rear with 3.23 gears. The truck only has 106,118 miles, VIN # 2GCEK24LXF1187244, 6600GVW. The engine was rebuilt Oct. 1996, @68,000miles, cause of a soft camshaft. The engine was bored .030" over, installed a tow cam, Edlbrock Performer Intake with a QJet. Also used -336 heads from a '71 350 with minor intake pocket work done. Trans was rebuilt at @95,000 miles. Transfer case was rebuilt in 1995-96, it is a 208 New Process unit. It has Warn manually locking hubs.
The doors, front wheel wells, tailgate & bumpers have been replaced. The truck was repainted in 2003, has been garaged kept since. The front seat was recovered, dash pads replaced-have sun cover for dash. Alpine stereo with 4 new speakers & EQ. Door panels were repainted. Many things I have done, wheels are powder coated original color white with new tires. Current inspection, truck has A/C, R12 system which blows cold air. Truck runs great, drive anywhere. I have not driven it much in the last 14 years, however every year it has been serviced & inspected. Storage is becoming an issue.
