1941 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Additional Info:
I bought this truck last year from a seller in California. The truck was complete but had some mechanicalissues that needed attention, so I made it my last winter's project. I went through every inch of the chassis and replaced / repaired any thing that needed attention. The list of new parts installed is extensive and too many to list here, but I have everything documented in the truck's file. My objective was to make the truck a dependable daily driver capable of driving without any worries. Here's the basics.....It has a fresh 454 with 10:1 pistons, roller rockers and Cloyes gear drive cam, nice whine. The transmission is a fresh rebuild with shift kit - professionally done. New Hughes torque converter andflex plate. All fluids are fresh. Custom headers have fresh Jet HotExtreme coating with new set of Stage 8 locks. Therear end is a 9" Ford locker with 31spline axles. The brakes are 4 wheel GM metric disc, new calipers, kits, pads and all rotors machined, systemflushed. Front wheel bearings and seals replaced. The steering is a power rack setup and drives nice. The seats are BMW power leather. The doors have manual handle on inside and electric latches for entry with remote and hidden button, electric windows and the windscreen cranks open and closed. There is a line lock installed in the front brake line if you're inclined to spend a lot of money on rear tires. I installed new kidney bean gasser wheels with lugs and spinners as well as new Mickey Thompson Street radials. The truck is strong on power as it is light for the engine size at about 2600 lbs. I don't know the HP of the engine but it is more than enough to scare you if you mash on it. There are many small custom features that takes time to look over and take it all in, it"s a great truck and you'll never see another like this unit. The previous owner hand-made the ornament on the scoop and it is so unique I wish I could keep it. I could go on for many pages but if you have questions it's best to call me. My cell is 614-571-4243, leave a message with callback number and I'll call you as soon as I can. If you're looking for a dependable, no issues custom rat, this truck deserves a careful look. I have a reasonable reserve on the price. Bid with the confidence you're getting a great truck. You handle all shipping.
