Originally assembled on September 15, 1960, this 1961 Corvette Convertible features a newer BODY-OFF restoration, and is in particularly nice condition. Additionally, this car had the same owner from 1965 all the way to 2007, as is evidenced by included copies of old titles. This car's paint is recent, and is vg with a great shine. Convertible top looks to be recent, and is vg with a vg window. Chrome bumpers show a recent finish, and are vg-exc, as as the taillights and weatherstripping. Exterior door handles are vg, and steel wheels are vg-exc with vg-exc correct style hubcaps. BF Goodrich Silvertown wide whitewall bias-ply tires show an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1961 Corvette Convertible shows good-vg seats, vg door panels and carpet, and vg-exc dash pad, gauges, steering wheel, and seatbelts. The numbers matching engine in this car shows final assembly date September 13, 1960. Correct air cleaner, ignition shielding, radiator hoses, and hose clamps are in place, and the frame is solid, nicely detailed, and rust-free. A pair of 1967 300hp style valve covers have been added. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
