1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Additional Info:
Hello bidders, after contemplating this for the past few weeks, I have decided to sell my Z28, working full time and owning your own business leaves little extra time for me. Being in my 50s and wanting to relive my younger days I started my search for this car about 2 years ago, I knew I wanted a 78 4 speed without AC and no t tops and 373 gears, ordered just the way I would have ordered one back in 1978. After sometime I ran across this car in Kentucky, being an original paint car and never being molested and ordered exactly the way I would have ordered i, my search was over. After returning home with my purchase I wanted repair some oil leaks and decided it would be better to just pull the engine and reseal the entire engine. After I dissembled it I found a wiped cam lobe, therefore a complete freshen up was an order, along with a factory spec comp cam, valve job all new rings and bearings, all engine parts were hot tanked and repainted in the factory GM blue. The correct Rochester carb was also rebuilt, finally a new clutch kit was installed and the super T10 trans was completely reseald. The Camaro was also fitted with a new set of hooker super comp headers and a complete new exhaust by the previous owner. I have some of the original exhaust including the factory exhaust manifolds that come with the car. The interior of the Camaro is super nice, fitted with new carpet and a new headliner. The dash pad has no cracks but does have some warpage at the top. The original AM/FM stereo and all gauges are in working order. The trunk of the Camaro is rust free and still has the factory trunk ma, space saver spare and the inflator bottle . The underside of the Camaro still has the factory undercoating and is rust free. The original paint is starting to show its age and should be repainted, there is a small rust spot on the passenger side quarter panel that requires some attention (shown in the pictures) A small magnet will stick to every panel on this Camaro in the usual rust areas. The terms of my auction are a $500.00 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. I will be more that happy to drop your purchase off at your shipping company's location (within reasonable distance and the car is paid in full first) I also reserve the right to end this listing due to it being listed for sale locally. A large folder of all receipts will be given to the new owne, that includes the factory build sheet and the glove box manual. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me at (586) 244-9077 thanks for viewing my auction
