1967 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:

OK, e know a lot of you guys out there are picky about your cars, ut please take a moment to look at this 1967 Chevy Nova. Clean, imple bodywork? Check. No nonsense interior? Got it. V8 power? Roger that. If you're the kind of guy who likes his cars to be subtle, hen this one definitely deserves your attention.Novas weren't anything amazing when they were new, ith most Novas like this one packing six-cylinder engines for economy. But that also means that their survival rate wasn't all that great, o finding a good one that's ready to enjoy isn't all that easy. This handsome pale yellow hardtop was refinished a few years ago and is no longer destined for the show field, ut it has the look of a car that's led a good life. You can easily see that someone cared about giving the Nova a racy makeover, hich included a fiberglass cowl-induction hood and oversized rolling stock, nd the result is a car that looks tough without advertising too loudly. Even though it started out as a six-cylinder model, t wears the Nova's crisp design quite well, ffering minimalist trim with just a single stripe of stainless running down the flanks, long with bright chrome bumpers and a simple egg crate grille up front. Heck, his one hasn't even been dressed up like a Super Sport, ut instead sticks to the basics and gets them exactly right.Basic black would describe the interior, ut like the exterior, t's what you don't see immediately that's most important, nd the beauty remains in the details. The seat covers have been replaced at some point and reproduce the original patterns exactly, aking them both comfortable and stylish. Replacement carpets, icely rendered door panels with all the stainless trim intact, nd original gauges all suggest that someone cared about making it look right. Auxiliary gauges have been fitted under the dash, ut true to its minimalist roots, here's no radio. As an original PowerGlide car, he 4-speed with Hurst T-handle shifter is a welcome sight, aking this neat little hardtop a bit of a sleeper that uses a factory look to great effect. Again, t's not perfect but it has its own charm that a lot of folks seem to really like.A 327 cubic inch Chevy V8 slides between the fender wells, nd since it was optional in the Nova, t fits perfectly. With a high-rise intake, delbrock carburetor, nd a few chrome dress-up pieces, t's got a vintage hi-performance look and it's about what you'd expect from a car that made its reputation on being fast and affordable. Its humble beginnings are visible in the fact that it has manual steering and brakes, ut given how light the car is, ou'll never notice that they're gone and it gives the car a very direct feel from behind the wheel. The engine and 4-speed manual transmission were transplanted as a unit, o they work well together and it has an awesome bark from the shorty headers, .5-inch exhaust system, nd Flowmaster mufflers out back. Factory-style Rally wheels are always an excellent choice, ith this Nova wearing 215/75/14 blackwall radials for an industrial-strength look.Just try to find a clean, sable, 8 Nova that's ready to go. Not so easy, ight? This neat coupe is ready to play and offers a subtle look that may just catch the other guy sleeping at the wheel. Call today!
