1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Silverado Additional Info:
I am looking to sell my 86 c20. This is an all original numbers matching truck. It has 73k original miles. I aquired it in 2010 with 41k miles. it has power windows and locks, working ac that needs a charge, trailer brake, and tool box with keys. The transmission just recently started acting up, but the truck can be driven, but the trans does need to be serviced to be road ready. My guess is it will need to be rebuilt, but luckily a turbo 400 is one of the cheapest automatic rebuilds (roughly $300-$500). The big block in this truck is very strong and starts on the first try, there arent too many motors more dependable than a chevy big block. The truck has Bfgoodrich all terrains with less than 6k miles on em with full warranties from discount tire. It has a new battery, new billet HEI dirstributor, long tube headers and glass packs, new starter, and new alternator. This truck isnt perfect but in excellent conditon, it has no major cosmetic damage (only 1 small dent) and the body lines are super straight, and the interior is fine minus headliner and the bottom of the bench seat needs a little love. This would make an excellent small project truck for someone, as it only needs a little bit of funds to have it road ready, and would be a total waste if used for work. These trucks sell for 12 to 14k in the right situations and i feel i have set a fair price taking into account the minor work needing to be done.
