1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z 28 Additional Info:
1984 Z 28 Camaro Roadster Convertible. Two-seater manual convertible top with 5 speed stick shift with a 305 V-8 engine.
-VERY RARE! Chevy only made these cars in 1983, 1984, 1985, and 1986. There are online estimates that only 600 total cars were sold during the 4 year period. This is NOT a kit car.
This car is fully restored. This is a hard-top covered with canvas which rotates into what used to be the back seat area. The deck lid behind the headrests closes over the top when it is stowed away. Tan leather Recaro seats with black interior. I've owned this car for 6 years. I've never driven it in rain/snow. It was covered and placed on jack stands in a garage for Fall/Winter seasons. The car comes with a Kenwood stereo/CD player with detachable face and car antenna which screws onto right front (antenna not pictured).
All of these convertibles were originally manufactured as T-tops. But then they were shipped to Elkart, Indiana where a company called Auto Form did the conversion where the back seats were removed and the the T-tops were cut out and the frame was reinforced. I have literature that details this process that goes with this car!!
Check on videos on Youtube to discover more about the history of these classic Camaros. I've seen Z 28 Camaros and Firebirds but I've never seen one like mine with the grooves on the side!! Many times when I drive this car, people ask me if it's a Ferrari! This will be the coolest convertible you have ever owned! It's always fun to drive but I've had my fun with it and want to pass it on to someone who will care for it and appreciate it the way I have.
This car will likely double in value in the next 10 years. Price is reasonably negotiable. I'm willing to sell to serious buyers only. Buyer must travel to NJ to pick up car. Shipping/transportation costs of car are the buyer's responsibility.
