1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Additional Info:

True "No Reserve" auction, lastbid will own. 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air set-up with a small block ChevroletV8 with a synchronized three speed trans and floor linkage going to a Trans Am differential, posi- unit.

Car has been lowered two inches to give it that hot rod stance, Outside rear door handles have been removed and filled, front floor panels have been welded into place and will need to be sealed. The car has new BF Goodrich tires all the way around, rims were painted for thebaby moon centers. Roof and visor have a finish coat, the blue is single coa, as more repairs to the rockers need to be finished (parts are included). There is 1/2 gallon of the blue color remaining and it goes with the car

Enginewas a running motor which had low oil pressureat idle:, possibilities: bad cam bearings (most likely), bad bearings, or oil pump. Currently engine is not running, so car is not drivable.

I have all of the original items for the car, plus many extras and some items will still need to be placed on the Bel Air. With this auction also included is a 53 Chevrolet 2 door parts car, not much left but it has a clean title for a two door car with all identification tags, good frame, roof, dash, and all four wheels look good on roller tires.

Interior is complete with extra instruments and dash chrome panels, radio is a Pontiac chieftain model.

This will be a cool Bel Air to take either way: to continue as a hot rod cruiser or to back to original, It has had heavy undercoat on frame and lower panels, but the rockers (back foot in and out) and a few small flat spots in trunk will still need work, both extra good in / outside rocker parts arein with the parts for replacement.

I want to answer a few questions on the bodywork: I am not the best body man. I welded in steel and covered the spaces with the thinnest bondo, Someone who has a better eye needs to improve the final seam in both the front floor pans and rear wheel, dog leg areas. Patch panels will still need to be welded in place from about the last few feet of the rockers and two or three 4"x 2" flat patches in the inside trunk floor. The back lower quarters (last 12") will need to have inside steel welded in to the new outside panels (inside panel replacements in parts). The trim on the rear of the car is not fully secured, most of the attachment screws broke and will need to be replaced, I just hung in place to show they are present:
