1958 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
Sweet 58 DelRay! You don't see many of these!! This one sports a fresh 350/290 crate motor with less than 1000 miles. Just enough to break it in and shake everything down. Runs great. New 11" clutch and flywheels as well. Other goodies include an aluminum dual plane intake, Pertronix electronic ignition, 100 amp alternator, Edelbrock carb, ceramic coated headers and more. An aluminum radiator keeps it all cool. All of these were new at the time of the build. The engine is mated to new Richmond 4 speed sporting the low 2.88 first gear. This allows for the tall 3.08 rear gear for cruising but gives you a little more grunt on the takeoff. The transmission is linked to the rear end with a new, fully balanced, telescoping driveshaft. This combo was put together for trouble free cruising! When the time comes, stopping wont be a problem thanks to the power disc brake conversion. The rear drums were also rebuilt and benefit from all new lines and hoses. As the photos show, the outside is just as nice. This car came from a dry climate, so rust is not an issue. The paint is not show quality, but very nice driver quality. Chrome and brightwork are a mix of new and original, but all of it is very nice. The car sports 17" Cragar polished aluminum wheels and Nitto tires with less than 2500 miles on them. The interior has been redone in black and white vinyl in a nod to the the original design. I am listing this car for my father, but I have inspected and driven the car. This car was built to hit the road and enjoy. So why sell it? Well, as happens to so many of us, another car came along that he just had to have, so this one has to go! I will be glad to put you in touch with him for any questions you may have, just contact me through ebay and I will extend his contact info to you privately. Buyer is asked to give a $1000 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours, and the balance via certified check or wire transfer. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks for looking!
