Up for auction is a 1978 Corvette, 5th anniversary edition with a hard to find manual transmission. It has the original paint and interior. I have loved and babied this car for many years. It was my dream car and now I have owned it. I will be sad to see her go, ut I want someone else to have the same chance to own this dream car. Below are the details. This car is a 1978 Corvette with a 4 speed manual transmission,350 engine. It is the 25th anniversary edition with the original navy blue exterior and oyster interior. It has the original, orking, tereo with an 8 track player. The current mileage on the car is 58,748 (original miles). I am only the 3rd owner of this car, nd it has been kept in a heated garage most of its life. It has not been driven in the rain in over 24 years. I has also never been taken out on salty roads. The interior is nice, eat material is not all ripped up. The seats have been covered (to prevent as much damage as possible). One seat does have a crack in the leather, ut it is on the back and does not hinder the seat in any way. It has hard shell T-tops that match the exterior color of the car. It runs really well, ut could use a tune up before the next driving season.some small leaks but nothing major. Under the hood is all original. The heat works very well but the A/C does not work. I never used it (because I would just remove tops), o I never bothered to fix it. The only gauge that does not work is the clock on the dash. The original paint does have a flaw here and there, ut is nice overall.Needs power antenna. There are side pipes with a cover on them so they will not burn your legs when you get out. The side pipe covers could use redipping.
Overall, his is an amazing car but please remember that it is a classic that is basically all original. You don't find that very often!! I am offering this car for auction with NO RESERVE so please only bid if you are a serious buyer!!!!!! The car is worth more than what i am asking, o please dont insult me with lowball offers.
