In 1971, hile on the staff of Miami University in Oxford, hio I ordered an identical car just like this one. After decades and over five years of searching I found this car, romptly installed my Miami University license tags and started showing it at local and regional meets. This car was frame off restored about seven years ago and driven sparingly since. The drive train is all original and has been rebuilt to factory specifications with matching numbers and it operates very strong and the air conditioning cools well. All vacuumn hose line were replaced at the time of the restoration and the headlights doors and wiper door operate as new. Elkhart Green was a fairly rare color and the paint is in excellent condition. It lacks 'road rash', nd parking lot nicks. The interior has very limited wear on the driver's seat, s seen in the attached photo, ut the interior is near spotless. Viewing the glove compartment reveals the T top bags still in factory wrap and the factory jack inside the compartment. It still has the clear factory floor mats and the carpet, ash and door panels appear 'as new'. All dash/console gauges operate correctly and the factory shifter selects the gears effortlessly. The T tops can be removed and placed in the factory provided storage bags and the rear window glass can be stored in a tray behind the seats in the top side of the luggage compartment. The owner's manual and Sales Brochure still remains with the car in the storage bin behind the seats. The tires are recently replaced and are the bias belt reproduction type which costs about one thousand dollars for a set. The replaced tires are available but over time they have developed flat spots from sitting. Please view the photos and ask questions.
