1966 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:
This is a matching number 1966 396/325h, 4-spd Impala SS Convertible. It is Marina Blue with white bucket seats, factory in dash tach and factory console with gauges and 12 bolt rear end. It has the original protecto-plate and the original title with the selling dealer's name and the original owners name that match the protecto-plate. It also has the original owner's manual, original custom accessories booklet and a very rare original 1966 folding top operation manual. Those are the good things, now for the bad. The frame is junk and the body is not much better. In fact, we were afraid the rear end was going to pull out of the car when it was dragged onto the trailer. It does roll now and we put that set of wheels and hubcaps on the car. I still have the original wheels and one original hubcap. The engine was turning over last week and even coughed once, but now it seems to be locked up. I bought the impala as a two car deal with a 1966 Corvette and I want to restore the vette. The impala came from a fellow that owned it since 1973 and it is very complete. It would be an amazing car with great colors if restored or it is a perfect candidate for a rebody. If you have a nonmatching small block convertible, here is your chance to triple the value of your car overnight. I hope to sell it to someone who is going to do something with it and not just part it out. Although it does have a lot of good parts. You need to be careful transporting this one though. Please bid or make an offer.
