1975 Chevrolet Other survivor Additional Info:
SHED FIND. Has both Bendix fuel-injection (sans injectors) and Weber 42 DCOE set-up kit (carbs apart). Previous owner was making a 'track-day' car (Summit Point), but never finished to race. SCCA ITA class requires original FI system. Last on the road about 1992, engine ran 3-years ago before carbs opened for cleaning and tank pulled. Solid uni-body and quarter-panels. Surface rust on roof and few spots due to tarp over car in storage. Typical rust holes at battery tray & rad support. Holes at RH windshield pillar, below tail lights, and corner of spare-tire well- repairable. Original wheels & spare. One sheet metal screw in tank, high-pressure fuel pump for FI system looks good. FI computer still in dash panel. Interior gone-- down to orig seat belts, but windows roll-up fine. Both Cosworth and a GT instrument panel with some instruments. Dash-top gone. Seat sliders ok.Suspension, brakes, exhaust, all look in place and workable.Great COSWORTH resto-rod, SCCA ITA car, or back to original with correct-date Camaro seats--you can save this car, I have too many projects. Also available separately: 1976 5-spd Borg-Warner trans from another Vega. Can help with delivery locally- 100 miles.
