The following mechanical restorations (new parts) were completed in Oct 2012 after I obtained this classic Malibu less than 2500 miles on them: over $8000 in parts and labor (after initial purchase price of car)
Tranny rebuild, 80 amp Alternator & rewired system, Condenser, Points, Plugs, Wires, Waterpump, all belts, all hoses, brake lines & hoses, all 4 wheel Cylinders, brake distribution block, 2 front drums, 4 brake shoes, 2 rear coil springs, 2 rear shocks, 1 ball joint, control arm bushing, alignment, 4 tires, fuel lines, fuel tank vent assembly, and battery (disconnected when not in use and tended all times)
