1970 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:

Re-Listed as original buyer from NY states "his 12 year old son made the bid, sorry"

I dropped the starting bid to get your attention, if you are looking for a good little hotrod to have a bunch of fun with this will be it and all parts are available everywhere. This will be the cheapest Nova that is actually a great little car to work on

This car isa true sleeper, a wolf in sheep's clothing. This Nova started out as a six cylinder car and was very well maintained. It did have one repaint, but they did a super job. The paint is starting to get pretty thin now, but it really protected the body The frame rails and springs are perfect. I would order one floor pan ($64)and weld in only the sections with rust on the front floorpans. Also, the driver's side dog leg will need to be repaired. All rust is very small and a small patch would take care of them. I didn't fix in order to show how good this body is.. Interior cloth is starting to separate, but the vinyl is still pliable for resewing new cloth panels in, cheapest way to go.

The engine is a mid 70's 350(sounds great and powerful). Do not know the mileage but was told, recently rebuilt. I pulled a compression test and all cylinders are right at 180#, which indicates a very strong engine. The following is new: HEI distributer, wires, plugs, hoses, choke cable, oil and filters (all), new radiator with spare with hoses, and new gaskets everywhere. Last week I had a new complete dual exhaust system installed: True duals with glass pack mufflers all the way to the back of the Nova. It also has new matched tires all the way around and good brakes.

Found a small water leak last week, it was the heater core ($35 on Ebay), I just unhooked the new hoses but not before I had thought it was the manifold and replaced original manifold with an Edelbrock performer intake and carb(electric choke), which will now go with the car..

All gauges work including the dome light. I heard the new radio workin, but disconnected it due to it being wired directly to the battery.
