1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS RS Additional Info:
This is an exceptionally rare opportunity... rust free - accident free 69 Camaro SS RS. My buddy owned this car for the last 20+ years. Another friend of mine was finally able to get it from him when he needed the funds to purchase a home.
This car was sitting in mint condition (regarding rust and accidents) for many years with a completely straight body. It has a complete rotisserie with beautiful jet black paint. Inside and bottom were also done with incrediblecraftsmanship. The subframe was removed, stripped and painted with two stage black epoxy paint. Fresh front brakes and suspension were done when subframe was re-installed. Rear end is original and was not yet restored.
Car comes with a year specific rebuilt 4 bolt 427HiPerformance and original rebuilt m22 Rock Crusher Muncie transmission ...ready to install.
Car is a roller with the front fenders, hood and radiator support. It does not have much of anything else as we planned to do aa complete A+ restore. All the glass and the entire interior were discarded.
You will need complete dash, glass, wiring, lights etc to complete car.
Another one of my good friends is the GM of Classic Industries and I get great pricing and would be happy to order all the parts with my discount if it would help.
Please do not submit any low ball offers... those that do are scum in my opinion and will be treated accordingly.
This car belongs to a dear friend of mine that has health issues that will not permit her to finish the car at this time.
The rotisserie alone was/is a $15,000 job with any reputable shop especially considering the subframe and fresh front suspension and brakes.
The engine is what the Yenko/COPO program used. This car is NOT a documented Yenko or COPO but will be essentially the same thing when re-assembled.
This project is ideal for a father/son project that would like to basically just re-assemble a car without the headache and extreme expense of paint and body work.
I will be posting additional photos at my earliest opportunity so please do not contact me requesting additional photos. The car is mint... image a brand new mint condition body with mint condition subframe with mint condition fenders, hood. Then imagine a mint condition rebuilt 427 with original rebuilt M22 tranny and that is what you have here:)
I do not expect anyone to bid on this without knowing what they are getting but I promise you this is the real deal and an incredible package.
