1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is arguably the most iconic classic American car. There is a magnetism from this patriotism that make everyone need to check these out at car shows, and give a polite honk when one passes by. It only gets better when you see the great colors and quality of this V8 idol. This '57 Chevy was completed in Matador Red, and so it's hard not to fall in love instantly. After all, we couldn't have given this more of a classic American appearance unless we place an apple pie in between the jet fin trim on the hood. Bodywork is well done and panel gaps are good, particularly the big hood which is always a challenge to fit. Speaking of the front end, the bumpers, grille, and other brightwork has been refinished to show standards, and you'll note that extra time was taken to ensure that all the stainless trim lines up properly. Correct Chevrolet badges have been installed front and rear, with the stylized "V" that symbolizes V8 power under the hood. Nothing has been shaved or removed, so this one feel genuine right down to the fender skirts and factory-style wheel covers. Complete with the red boot cover, this convertible looks terrific with the top down. But even when you have to put the folding electric roof in place, the white matches so nicely with the iconic tailfins, that this Bel Air has a great profile on any day no matter if the sun is shining or not!Inside, you'll find one of the most striking factory color combinations. The exterior-matching red vinyl is combined with gray cloth on the seats, door panels, and dashboard. It has an eye-catching uniform appearance that makes you proud to show this convertible off to the world. There are crisp, clean gauges behind the highly stylized Bel Air steering wheel. Plus, just like the exterior, the brightwork is complete, so this one looks stunning. As a true V-code Bel Air, you'll be happy to see a correct 1957 283 cubic-inch V8 under the hood (possibly the original motor!). This was the largest of the new small blocks made available at the time, and it really helped the '57 obtain its legendary status. With a history this important, you'll love lifting the hood at car shows and revealing the time capsule of an engine bay. From the big black air grabber to the stylized Chevrolet script on the valve covers, this is an attention getter. But more than just the engine bay looks like a time capsule back to 1957. Take a look at the undercarriage photos, and you'll see this one looks pristine and accurate right down to the correct red oxide primer. The Powerglide automatic transmission provides plenty of comfort, and so do the tires. They might look like classic whitewalls from the profile, but they hide a more aggressive modern tread. Complete with plenty of supporting material, including restoration/repair guides and a unique story on this car's history you're looking at the ultimate droptop for many of us. So if you've been looking for one of these icons, you already how rare it is to find one this complete, especially for this price. Call now!!
