1970 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
Offered for sale is a restorable 1970 Chevrolet C-10, equipped with a 3 speed floor-mounted manual transmission that I've been wanting to restore but just don't have the time or the money. The truck runs well and could easily be a daily driver until one can restore it. I've been working on it and installed a new clutch, oil pan cover gasket, U-joints, and serviced the brakes all around. It always starts right up and has driven quite a few distances, to include a 300 mile roundtrip. The truck has a factory 350 Goodwrench crate engine from the late 80's, which seems to be in great shape. It has been my personal truck for the last year and is registered to me. There is no title; for the State of Alabama only holds a Bill of Sale for anything that old. As far as the body is concerned, there isn't really a whole lot of rust. The underbody may appear questionable; the reason being it that's it's coated with clay as a result of the last terrain it drove on from the previous owner. Other than that, as you will see in the pictures, the frame is in great shape. The bed's metal is solid, other than a few small holes here in there as indicated. There are minor bed corner rust spots. The cab upper corners only have surface rust. The only concern with the underbody are some holes in the lower cab supports, which is likely to be a simple fix. Both doors have rusted, along with the rocker panels. I do have both rocker panels and some gold still plates with the Chevy emblem to go along with the Rocker panels. The door panels are missing; however, I will try to locate some before selling the truck. I believe you'll love this truck. It will actually be great with a little work here in there at your own leisure.
