1964 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod Additional Info:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is one awesome 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod. Before this radical transformation, the car was stored in a warehouse for over 30 years. Luckily, the car was recovered from what has been the end of many great cars, and the decision was made to make it into the amazing machine you see before you. Performed by the Duntov Motor Company in Dallas, Texas, no expense was spared on this restoration/modification. Specializing in building, racing, and restoring vintage Corvettes, Duntov's expertise shines through brilliantly on this build. The frame was stripped completely down, dipped in an alkaline vat, and primed to a level higher than you would have seen on the line in St. Louis. Pop the forward tilting hood and you will find a brand new GM Performance LS3 engine. This particular LS is pumping out 525 hp, making this little black C2 a force to be reckoned with. All of that force is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5 speed manual and spinning a Duntov differential housing 3.73 gears. Keeping this little beast planted is a complete Duntov front and rear suspension set up. The entire undercarriage, engine compartment, and inside of the body was sprayed with Lizard Skin to keep heat and unwanted sounds out of the cabin. Fans of Fast & Loud may recognize Sue's handy work, as ASM performed all of the interior work, including the Corbeau leather reclining seats with 4 point harnesses. Adding to the interior comforts is a custom Bluetooth sound system, power windows, power steering, and a Flaming River tilt steering column. This car was a factory air car, and it has been upgraded with a Vintage Air A/C system. Naturally, you top off a build like this with phenomenal paint. 10 coats of primer were applied with sanding between each coat, then 3 coats of black base and 3 coats of clear coat. Throw in the smoked chrome Coy's wheels and the brutal side pipes, and this car has the presence to match the build. This is one unique C2 Corvette that will not disappoint.
