1970 Cadillac Deville Convertible
Open to interest, asking $8800. Auction is for 1984 SevilleONLY.
118k, 472 V8. Options include Cadillac 8-track player under dash, tilting and telescoping steering wheel, power bench seat, power top with color matched leather look boot cover and Cadillac spoke hubcaps.
The.top canvas was replaced about ten years ago with the glass back window (glass becoming separated from top at the bottom as seen in pic). Matchingtan leather look convertible boot cover snaps on easily. The interior overall is in very good condition, seats arecomfortableand wood on doors and dash still looks good. Recent work includes four new tires, alignment, brakes and rebuilt carburetor. The 472 V8 starts with the touch of the key. Exhaust becoming a bit loud, needs a "donut" connector up front. Original paint still shines when waxed, some old bodywork visible up close behind the front wheels at the bottom of the front fenders. A/C compressor turns on but doesn't blow cold. The car is always garaged, the undercarriage is clean and solid. The Caddy is dependable, always starts easily, runs smooth, shifts properly and is a pleasure on the highway. Garage floor always dry when pulling the car out.Classic insurance is $120 a year for full comprehensive, insured for $24k.
