1969 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:
You are bidding on a partially restored 1969 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. I own and operate a car storage facility where this car has been stored recently. The owner has given up on the restoration for financial reasons and signed over the car to pay his storage bill. I am selling the car as-is along with all the parts that you see in the photos. Nearly all original parts are present, as well as several replacement pieces both new and used. I have photographed everything so that you the potential buyer can see exactly what is available. If you don't see something, ask me and I will look around.
Basically the body work has been almost completed. All blocking has been done, along with any welding, filling and sanding. No primer has been applied yet. All the trim was removed prior to the body work, and most of it remains intact and with the car.
To my knowledge the engine has not been worked on yet, although the previous owner reports that he owned the car for 20 years (purchased in California) and it was his daily driver, so I assume that the engine and transmission are likely functional, but I have not seen the car running.
The interior was taken apart and most of the parts were preserved, although I cannot find the back seat and the door panels are from a different car and are intended to be re-finished to match whatever new interior is chosen.
The car rolls and steers so it can be transported out of here to anywhere in the world.
We are located in Miami, FL. Again, the car is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty of any kind. Buyer is responsible for shipping. A deposit of $500 (paypal OK) is required within 24 hours of auction close, with the balance due by cash or cashier's check within 7 days of auction close, and the car and parts must be removed from the premises within 14 days of auction close.
