Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

The 1966 Eldorado was a large luxurious Cadillac built in this particular bodystyle for only two years (1965-66) with no primary competition that could easily carry six people and had a power top, automatic level control suspension system and featured a large 429/340HP V8 engine. Only 2,250 models were built in 1966 and 2,125 were built in 1965! These were the final years of the rear wheel drive Cadillac and amongst the best of the breed. The 1965 redesign brought handsome new curved sided styling amd a stronger new full perimeter frame replacing the old X-member affair, with better engine mounts, a new four link rear suspension and the improved Turbo Hydramatic drive transmission with the result being two of Cadillac's best sales years ever! With these rare mid-sixties models becoming increasingly thinned out now, these particular 1965-66 year models are now being appreciated by Cadillac enthusiasts more than ever before as an increasingly desirable and collectible and very rare Cadillac from two of its best years ever!
This particular example is a very rare and unique as a mostly all original survivor with its original 'Flamenco Red' (color code 48) factory paint with a matching Red perforated factory leather front bench and rear seats with red carpeting and a new White power soft top, its all original and beautifulreal wood trim on the door panels, a matching Red tonneau cover and a spare wheelstill all intact as in 1966! The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has had no accidents - obviously an always garaged and cherished car since new and it still boasts its original owner's manuals!
The car has it's original matching # 429/340HP V8 engine with believed to be only 72K original miles, which are very believable once the car is seen! The engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent! This particular car also drives absolutely magnificently - it must really be seen and driven to be believed and appreciated - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the car has four virtually new radial wide white wall tires. Please note that all the options are working as they should including all the power options of the windows, including the vent windows, the top and the air conditioning!
This is a rare opportunity to own a rare fully loaded and great daily driving mostly all original survivor and a completely rust free example of a truly beautiful 1966Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible! A super striking example in this classic 'Flamenco Red' with a matching Red leather color interiorwhich is the perfect car for the Cadillac enthusiast to add to any serious collection or simply a great daily driving and turn-key ready example of one very fine 1960's all American legendary classic car for any classic American classic car collector!
