Being offered is this 1963 Cadillac Coupe Deville that still retains its original black & yellow California plates. Has its original 390 V8 / automatic transmission. With a folder of service & maintenance records from over the years, with the most notable records being a engine rebuilt done for $5,133 in 2007 by The Engine Company in Torrance, Ca & a transmission rebuilt in 2008 by Lakewood Transmission for the amount of $1,719. Within the last month work done was a new gas tank,gas sending unit & had the carburetor rebuilt. Cadillac runs & drives fine, hasn’t been driven much over recent years so would recommend basicwork done soon as oil change, tires are older, etc.. & has a small exhaust manifold leak noise. Lights, gauges are in working condition.
Older repaint from the early 90’s, was originally Bahama Sand that was repainted to white paint. Body is mostly solid with someoccasional rust & surface rust in some areas, I posted some photos of the rust. Trunk pan / quarters / fenders / inner-wells are all good & under floors &frame are good as well with just surface rust. The paint & interior is older, power window don’t work but was working before. Chrome bumpers are in good condition. Great project that is ready to be restored! Add some tlc, it would makea great cruiser that you can drive while you work on it.
