1968 Cadillac Calais Coupe – Rare Classic This is a rare, mostly all-original survivor with 141,000 original miles and a clean California title in hand. Only 8,321 Cadillac Calais Coupes were produced in 1968, making this a hard-to-find model — especially in largely original condition. These late-60s Cadillacs continue to rise in value as clean, unmodified examples get harder to find. Details: 141,000 original miles Original 472 V8 engine and original transmission Clean California title Registration tags expired in 2022 Mostly all original Rear air shocks installed Brand new 4-inch Coker tires (less than 100 miles on them) Only non-original part is the front seat. The Trunk has a small amount of rust The front seat has been replaced, but the original front seat is included with the sale (it does have rips for anyone wanting to restore it back to factory condition). The car was running strong and smooth, but the starter or solenoid recently stopped working, so it currently does not crank. The ignition bezel was broken, so I chose to convert it to a push-start setup. The push-start system still needs to be fully installed. To be clear — this is not a showroom car at all. It’s a solid classic driver project with character and presence.
