This is a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado which was purchased new in the midwest and driven only in summers, and was stored in a heated garage from 1991-2021. It was then purchased and brought down to Florida, where it was recommissioned with lots of work done (see the images of lists of work done from 2021-2024) and now resides in Florida, where it is driven occasionally on weekends. The body and paint (Phoenician Ivory, factory color)are original, as is the interior (Yellow-Green, the actual factory name for this light avocado leather interior). All are in excellent condition for the age and there is no rust on the car on the body or underneath. The car shows beautifully and it's impossible to drive it without the entire world giving "thumbs-ups" and smiles. The car has the original body paint colored parade boot (pictured) in its original grey wool holder (rare!) and all electronics on the car work perfectly including cold a/c while the cruise control works intermittently and could use attention if needed. The car has a new top motor and relay, as well as newer window motors and wiper motor and stainless steel exhaust system. The a/c compressor is also new and it blows cold a/c (although you only need that when it rains, and we don't drive it in the rain). The car also has brand new Vogue tires with medium-width whitewalls which look stunning on the car.The original Haartz vinyl convertible top is in fair condition for its almost 50 years age and will eventually need replacement with some adjustment of the scissor top mechanism. It works and seals fine for now but to make the car really right, a new top would be ideal. Of course, if you're only planning to install the parade boot and use the car, it's not really necessary but if you want it complete, a local upholstery trimming shop quoted me $1650 for a new Robbins or EZ-On top (the best brands) installed. I can discuss this cost and work with a serious buyer.TRADES: Only equal value convertible Mercedes SL, convertible Corvette, or any Rolls-Royce or Bentley would be of interest. RR Shadow or Bentley Turbo R of particular interest. Will trade up for RR Corniche. Here is a link to a walk-around video of the car and a demonstration of the top's water-tightness on a rainy day.
