1977 Cadillac Coupe De Ville 425 cu in with auto trans 103,000 miles
Vehicle Details
Bought this from the original owner about 14 months ago
It sat unused for a year before I bought it
I replaced the battery and I took it home
Cleaned it and drove it about 200 miles total since purchasing
Have all the service records from orig owner
As you see in the video there is a rip in the drivers front seat (the new front seat Cadillac leather upholstery is included) I never got around to reupholstering the seat
Also included are the window sweep weatherstrips and the glass channel weatherstrips as they should be replaced
Body looks good except for the bubbling on the passenger rear quarter and passenger front fender
I think the window switch is bad because the passenger window only goes down from the passenger window switch
The air conditioning was upgraded to 134a and works great until it doesn’t
I drove it yesterday about 30 miles and it was nice and cold until my halfway point then not cold anymore
This morning I drove it around town and it was fine
The driver side quarter panel rear extension was replaced and the passenger side should be replaced too (passenger rear quarter extension is in the trunk)
Power antenna was replaced with a fixed mast antenna
Radio works but I was not able to test the 8 track tape player because I do not have any 8 track tapes
Tires are good
Brakes are good
Shifts well
Belts and hoses are good
Looks like it was well maintained
Starts and drives and stops great
Drives nice and smooth on the road and highway
Trunk is clean
Spare tire and jack are in trunk
One tail light is loose and I have not tightened it
There is a toggle switch under the dashboard and it turns off the horn and the power seat
If I leave the switch on, the battery dies in about 10 days if you don’t start the car
If you start it once a week you’re fine
If I leave the switch off you can leave the car without starting indefinitely
I’ve had a little over a year to test this out which is why I know
I assume the power seat or the horn have an issue
They both work absolutely fine with the switch in the on position
Passed New York safety inspection
I’ve listed everything I could possibly tell you about this car
It’s a very nice clean 77 caddy they drives well
Car cover is included
